Known for their alternative and indie melodies, French 4-piece band Reaven released an electrifying guitar slammer tune Ordinary Heroes, which is taken off their EP, (Be) For Tomorrow. Ordinary Heroes mirrors the strength of Reaven’s embellished sound, which the band discuss below, along with their plans for the rest of the year.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Ordinary Heroes?

Very good actually!! We’ve been pleasantly surprised to see this very warm welcome from our audience and from a new one around the globe. It was really important to us to hear the feedback about this song because Ordinary Heroes is a rock & kinda alternative single coming after three pop-rock & acoustic singles (Escape, Hope & Electric Love). But, apparently, the reception has been very positive and our audience also likes this other aspect of our sound!

TF: And can you sum up the track in one sentence?

A catchy indie-rock song with a heavy guitar riff and a melody that you won’t get out of your head once you heard it.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, I note an EP?

We released an EP called (Be)For Tomorrow on the 3rd July. We’re planning to film a new music video of our track Ordinary Heroes within the next months. In 2022 (spring), we will release the full new album called For Tomorrow. And we’re trying to reschedule our 3rd European tour and 1st US + Central/Latin America tour.

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

Because it was the first show of our first European tour in 2018 I would say the Gastfeld in Bremen (DE). We really look forward to gigging in the US & Latin/Central America. Also, there is a venue where I would like to play called the Kaiserkeller in Hamburg (DE), known because The Beatles played there in the 60’s.
