Emma Kelly has just dropped new single, Loving You, and has a mini-tour on the cards, as well as working on an EP that she is releasing (hopefully) at the end of the year. Emma spoke with The Fountain about the new music, her plans and some of the venues we can look forward to seeing her live.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Loving You?
It has been so good thank you! It is always daunting putting new music out into the world but I love the song so I am glad to see so many people also loving it.
TF: And can you sum up the track in one sentence?
A huge banger that delves into the turbulence of relationships that make you feel vulnerable yet on top of the world.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year?
I’ll be going on a mini tour at the end of the year playing in London, Brighton and Liverpool so it’s going to be so much fun playing outside of London especially as I have never played in Liverpool before. I also plan to spend loads of time in the studio finishing up more tracks to get my EP finished for next year.
TF: When can we next expect a live show from you now that venues and gigs are kicking off again?
My next show will be in Brighton on the 26th October and then I will be playing my headline show at the Hope & Anchor in Islington, London on 5th November.
