My Glass World will release their latest album Still Life With Machine Gun on 24th September through Luxury Noise. My Glass World are Scottish Songwriter Jamie Telford with accomplice Sean Read as well as a host of friends. Between the two of them they have played with a load of bands from The Jam to Dexy’s Midnight Runners, and now have this new album release. Jamie spoke with The Fountain about the new music and favourite venues he hopes to perform in again soon.
TF: You have a new album out, what has the reception been like to Still Life With Machine Gun?
Its been overwhelmingly excellent so we must be doing something right...
TF: And can you sum up the record in one sentence?
Lockdown concentrates the mind.
TF: And where did your influences come from with this LP?
The news, and the net. Lockdown again..
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year?
Can we gig? If so where? Will it make any difference? Will we catch Covid?
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
