Fife’s up and coming pop sensation has been turning heads across the globe during the pandemic with her catchy hooks and new singles. Following on from an appearance on The Voice UK, JU?IA didn’t hold back. Releasing her second single Can’t Stop Missing You in January 2021, she continued to show that she was not going away anytime soon. And now with new track Mine out, The Fountain caught up with her to discuss plans, venues, and new music.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Mine?

The feed back has been amazing! A lot of positive comments which I’m so happy about! The song was also made track of the week on BBC introducing which blew me away. So I can’t thank everyone enough for the feedback.

TF: And can you sum up the track in one sentence?

90s Hip hop, quirky pop track.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year?

I’ve got a lot planned for the rest of this year. I have just finished a new single and there is a potential EP but I don’t want to give to much away…

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

I’m not sure about my favourite but I definitely love it when I get to play in a new venue and seeing people’s reactions to my music. The gig I’m most looking forward to is definitely the King Tuts gig I’m playing on the 9th August, I’m so excited to be playing at such an amazing venue!
