Lexxi Vonne is a musician that has been working hard on projects that will tickle your ears and make your hearts burst with emotion. With brand new EP out, Aquarian Age via her own record label Ritual Salvation out 14th May, The Fountain thought it high time they caught up with Lexxi about new music and plans for the rest of the year.
TF: You have a new EP out, what has the reception been like to Aquarian Age?
So far the reception has been extremely positive. All of my followers clicked on the links when we launched and I have had a lot of interest from other producers and DJs. I think so far the reception has been everything I could have hoped for.
TF: How would you sum up the record in one sentence?
A journey through my version of what commercial music could sound like.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
I launched the new label Ritual Salvation Records and I have about 8 more EPs to release. The next one will be from Fabrizia Corsi and I am sure more will be placed in the pipeline very soon. I am talking to some uber talented producers who make music on my vibe and I am working on my own stuff as we speak so this year is looking very busy already. I think it is important to have a great team of artists and this is my mission for now.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
I really don’t have one anymore. I have played in so many awesome venues here in the UK and abroad and I used to be in love with iconic spaces like Fabric or Ministry with their huge sound systems. But I feel that we have all moved on a little from those places and sometimes prefer more intimate clubs. I would definitely not refuse a set in Fabric though! I still have a soft spot for it.
