TF: You have a new album out, what can we expect from The Honeymoon?
The Honeymoon is an album full of stories about my travels and what comes with each journey. Some songs are about missing home, some about finding happiness in a new place and some are about making mistakes and learning from them.
TF: How would you sum up the LP in one sentence?
Songs can have an impact on people’s lives and I hope these do too.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year?
I start rehearsals with my band, we preparing for some open air summer shows. I’m also working on some new songs and hope to release something before the year ends.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live and where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
I really love playing hometown shows. Inverness is always good fun. I really enjoy The Ironworks and would love to play my own show there soon! I’m looking forward to playing Belladrum with my band next year. They’ve never been to the UK before and I can’t wait to play.
