You already know Flo Gallop. Flo’s the beat behind our breakdowns and the word-perfect poetry of our bounce-back pick-ups. South-east London born and bred, Flo was raised around music, her dad made song-writing feel like breathing. Without it she would choke. And with single out, 21, Flo spoke with The Fountain about her music and the receptions it’s received.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to 21?
It’s been really cool! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! People who I haven’t heard from for ages are messaging me saying well done and people who I’ve never heard of are messaging and saying they love it so that’s really wicked. The streams keep going up and I’m hoping it’s just going to keep going! People seem excited to hear more too and I promise to not let them down!

TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
You’re 21 there’s no time for dramas, worrying why a boy didn’t text you back or the fact that realistically you’re not raking the money in. Worry about that on a later date. Life is too short

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?

There’s lots more to come this year and I promise it’s all worth waiting for. So much love and time has gone into this project and I just hope you guys love it as much as I do! 21 also has a video coming out very soon so stay in touch on my socials!!
