Ravenfangs, an Alt-Rock act from South-West London, released their debut single, Sick Of the Blue, on the 30th of March 2021. The band, formed of Marco Veint (Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals), Joe Saville (Bass), Will Kirby (Lead Guitar) & Simon Toolan (Drums) unleashed their anthemic Punk-infused track as a taster for their forthcoming EP Welcome To The Universe. The band spoke with The Fountain about hopeful plans to tour and the reception to their new track.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Sick of the Blue?
Sick Of The Blue is one of our most popular tracks. We’re really excited about getting back on stage and playing it for all of you so we can see those circle pits go wider and wider.
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
A Rock N Roll bridge full of rage that connects all nations!!
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
We plan on going on tour as soon as the restrictions are eased. Then just keep playing live shows as much as we can. Plus, we have our first EP coming out. And our first music video. So, make sure to keep your eyes peeled and spread the word about us by following all our social media channels.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
Well, there are a few venues. Definitely the Camden Assembly, at the top, and then The Old Blue Last. We really hope to get the chance to perform at the 02 Brixton Academy and the Electric Ballroom, within London, and, outside London, we really want to play at the King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow.
