NASA is the second single from London based electro, disco-punk, indietronic trio Broken Bricks, which comprises of producers Warren Borg (aka Worgie), Lee Hughes (aka Yewzi) along with vocalist Christianne. This single is the bands follow up to the popular debut single release Slow Down. The band spoke with The Fountain about their new music as well as plans for later in the year.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to NASA?
The reception has been great! I think it’s surprised people as it’s quite different to our first release Slow Down; incorporating more of an Indie style and a particularly dirty bass line. If you haven’t heard it yet, get those subwoofers ready…
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
A gritty and honest reflection on the many sides to a relationship.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
After this, we are releasing our third and final single off of the album before a full album release later this year. We have also been working on our podcast Thru the Daw, and we have a lot coming in 2021, keep your ears peeled!
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
The most memorable has to be Koko in Camden, the energy and excitement was amazing; especially with it being a venue that’s seen me on the other side of the stage many times! Due to the nature of the last year, we haven’t been able to gig together in the way we had expected, like many people in the industry, so more than anything we can’t wait to start getting out there wherever that may be!
