Old-school rock is back and gets a contemporary twist from the British hard-rock outfit 10 Gauge. Musically and sonically, the band return to the rhetoric and style of the late 1980’s & early 1990’s to play their exciting brand of rock with the same dedication and inner strength as bands such as Metallica. With new track, I’m Broken, out The Fountain caught up with the band to discuss new music or plans for the year.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to I’m Broken?
The response has been fantastic. We are hoping to have our online shop online soon so merchandise and physical copies will also be available.
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
I’m Broken is the mindset of anyone who has ever felt trapped, that felt like just bad lucks always there, the ‘had it all and lost it’ feeling, but in the chorus it shows us that you can ask for help, you should ask for help.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
We have two more singles to follow I’m Broken that will be coming soon. Plus we are recording more new tracks. While we can’t get out there performing, we’re going to make sure we make the best of this time by creating new music.
Watch this space!
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
There are so many!
But we especially enjoy the buzz from Club 85 in Hitchin and the Robin 2 in Wolverhampton.
To be honest, just to get back out there playing is what we are looking forward to most. I think every musician must feel the same. We do have Festivals lined up in case restrictions allow, but we will have to wait and see.
