2021 is going to be an exciting year in Asher Knight‘s musical career. His single Alone provides a sense of artist professionalism and slickness. Asher has built on his musicianship craft and produced an amazing body of work, which will shortly come together as one within his upcoming EP, Alone. The rising pop star spoke with The Fountain about the new track as well as his plans for the year.

TF: You have a new single out, what can we expect from Alone?

Alone is a big pop song that incorporates storytelling lyrics that truly reveal a part of life.

It’s a very vulnerable song for me, as it dives into a time in my life where I felt I could never be loved as so many of us don’t feel good enough in life, but the reality is that we are more than good enough

TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?

An emotional and reveal song about wanting to be loved.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?

I have recorded an EP so my plan over the year is to release a couple more singles and then release my EP.

It’s hard to determine about touring but hopefully when things are back I will on the road touring again also.

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

I don’t really have a favourite venue but for me going to home to Yorkshire is always exciting but also being able to perform in Manchester where I first saw all my favourite artists.

I truly look forward to just being able to go on tour again, it’s been a year since I last performed live so I am excited and ready to start again.
