Muca & La Marquise released their fourth single of 2020 in December, Devil’s Dance, on Secret Warehouse Of Sound Records. The track, which was unleashed on the 15th of December, is an acoustic homage to long summer days spent lounging under the gaze of an unrelenting sun. The band spoke with The Fountain about the reception to the music as well as plans for 2021.
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Devil’s Dance?
I released the single at the end of the year. Funnily enough, we’ve been receiving later but very nice reviews from it, which is awesome. It’s great to see, in today’s world, that you can release a single and get press attention long after it hits the stores. People still seek out new music even after it’s been out for a while.
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
Summer vibes that are no longer gone.
TF: What is your plan for 2021, after this release?
There are two more singles to be released on this project. One in February and one in mid-march with the album release. At this stage, I’m not thinking of any live gigs as it’s clearly a bit a waste of resources. I’m also using this project to discover new female singers and introduce them to a wider audience.
