Billboard-charting New Age artist Joss Jaffe has returned with his latest single Sun To Shine ft. Grammy nominee Dave Stringer. Initially written by Jaffe during a 4-month trip to India and produced by DJ Taz Rashid, Sun To Shine takes listeners on a spiritual exploration through renewal, love, and redemption. Joss spoke with The Fountain about this new track as well as his plans for 2021.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Sun to Shine?

It’s been great! Lots of feedback that people are in love with the chorus. So much that I’m getting quite a few requests for a version that cuts to it quicker and stays there longer. Remix?

TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?

Happy and uplifting lyrics in a modern pop aesthetic.

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?

There is a lot of exciting stuff coming down the pipe. This month the next single comes out: Inner Way Feat. DJ Taz Rashid! The video is super fun and features roller skating! Followed up by a number of singles, culminating in a ten track album. I’ve also got some new irons in the fire of projects that span from ambient to electronica to acoustic world music. Stay tuned!

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

Ah! Tough question! I’ve been posting some of my favourite shows of the last few years on my Instagram page (@jossjaffe). Some highlights have been Miyazaki Japan, Seoul South Korea and Yoshi’s Oakland. OK. I’m gonna go with Yoshi’s Oakland. Incredible sound and the backline is off the charts (Full Hammond B3 with rotating Leslie and Full Fender Rhodes with built in cabinet. Nuff said.)
