Oslo-based, Iran-born pop and Urban-electronic artist/producer Paria has dropped C’mon, out now on Bøl Records. This is the second release from her forthcoming debut album: the first, Despite All Crazy already surpassed 300k streams on Spotify, no surprise for an artist with over 1 million plays in 80 countries and counting. The 23 year old spoke with The Fountain about the track as well as her plans for the rest of 2020.
TF: You have a single out, what has the reception been like to C’mon?
Yes, it’s been awesome! I’ve received a lot of heart-warming messages on how people have been liking and listening to C’mon.
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
The music video for C’mon has just dropped, I’ve been really excited to share it with everyone. I also plan on putting out a song before the new year.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
I don’t have a favourite venue yet; I love playing gigs in my “hometown”. It’s really nice to see my friends and family sing along to my songs from the front row, but I also love when I get to travel and see new places and sing to a new crowd. I’ve never yet played outside of Norway, so it’ll be cool to do that sometime.
