Leaving Bordeaux is delighted to bring to you their latest track, This Time (No Mistakes) . Written in lockdown, inspired by lockdown from an act that has exploded onto the Glasgow music scene and been hotly tipped by Jim Gellatly. The band spoke with The Fountain about the new track as well as their favourite venues to eventually play live again.

TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to This Time (No Mistakes)

It’s been great! A lot of really good praise about the song and the reception has been phenomenal, we feel like we are naturally progressing as a band and in our song-writing.

TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?

“A meaningful song that you can vibe too”

TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this single release?

The plan is just keep writing and recording. We’ve got some recording time booked already for December and we are getting tracks finished and ready for when that comes. With the live industry on pause the now we’ve taken this time too just really focus on song-writing and recording.

TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?

That’s a tough one! We’ve all got our personal favourites when it comes to gig venues. Mines would be Broadcast, it’s a great small intimate venue where you can get up close with folk and get a really great atmosphere going. The next place as a band we would look forward to play would either be King Tuts or St Lukes when the opportunity comes!
