Montreal-based metal band, Fatal Switch, have just released new album, Doctors and Demons, following debut single Who We Are. The band spoke with The Fountain about their new album as well as their favourite music venue that they cannot wait to play live again.
TF: You have a new album out, what has the reception been like to Doctors & Demons?
So far its been great thanks for asking! We are finding new fans in all kinds of different regions and the reception has been better than we could have hoped for. Our exposure on national television has also helped quite a bit and these conversations are also very important to us.
TF: How would you sum up the release in one sentence?
Epic mayhem brought to life by destructive riffs and traumatic storytelling.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
For the remainder of the year we are focusing on promoting our debut album Doctors & Demons and creating new music that we plan on recording early next year. Keeping creative and safe is what we are doing until we can start touring after the COVID storm lifts.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
Our favourite place so far has been Cherry Cola’s but we look forward to gigging in all kinds of venues. The venue itself is secondary to the crowd though. We will play anywhere the fans want to hear us and getting out to as many places as possible is the most important thing to us right now.
