Got A Reason is the brand new release from Deep Love Foundation. The thinking behind the track was having a reason in life, a reason to live, love and go on. Deep Love Foundation spoke with The Fountain about the new track and their enthusiasm about playing live again.
TF: You have a new single out, what can we expect from Got A Reason?
Got a Reason is DLF’s debut release, it forms the foundation for what is to come from the Midlands rockers and we can’t wait to share with you all!
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
GaR stands as a big, bold stadium rock anthem with catchy hooks and a defiant keep your head held high message.
It’s about believing in your anchor and maintaining it through the noise and chaos of life’s challenges.
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
The plan after Got a Reason is to release more singles taking us into 2021 where there’s rumours a full length album could follow, stay tuned for that folks!
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
Between now and then we will be looking for as many opportunities to perform live as possible, we have been approached by a few live stream events so we’ll keep you posted about those! We initially formed as a gigging band so we love to gig and play live and we’re raring to get back into it, as we’re sure a lot of others are too!
Our favourite place to gig is a tough one! We love the intimacy of the smaller venues, you could really get close up to everyone in the room which traditionally was great! But then there’s something electric about being outdoors, on a big stage with the kick drum ripping your chest that you just can’t imitate anywhere else. We love to gig everywhere and we want to bring the Deep Love Foundation to everyone!
