Scottish indie dreamers, the Shambolics, are soon to release new single, Love Collides, this Autumn. Like a last-chance display of affection to save a relationship on the rocks, the Fife four-piece put their everything into a track that makes for heart-in-mouth listening. The lads spoke with The Fountain about the new single as well as their dream venues to play live (when those doors open up again).
TF: You have a new single out, what has the reception been like to Love Collides?
Its been great! Its a fan favourite this track so I think our fan base has been waiting a long time for it to be released. Its gonna go down a storm I’m sure.
TF: How would you sum up the track in one sentence?
TF: What is your plan for the remainder of the year, after this release?
With the current situation going on and lockdown restrictions getting tighter I’ve no idea to be honest. Who knows how the live industry is gonna unfold over the next six months. Hopefully the ball can get rolling again for live events and we can do some shows.
TF: Where is your favourite venue for playing live, where is the next place you look most forward to gigging?
I really like St Luke’s in Glasgow. Its a big old church converted into a venue. It sounds and looks amazing. The dream is to play the iconic venue across the road from that. The Barrowlands. Its gonna happen one day.
