Edinburgh-based alt-rock quartet, Gypsy Circus, released new track,
Holy Lights and Shadows, at the beginning of the year, creating a sound for the fans of Biffy Clyro and 3 Doors Down. They recently toured with the new track and spoke with The Fountain about their 2019 resolutions.
TF: A new single, how exciting, what has the reception been like so far?
It has been really great so far! Lots of people have said they dig the track. Guys who I thought were not keen on the band have got in touch saying the think its cool. So that has been sweet.
TF: What inspired you to title it Holy Lights and Shadows?
To be honest it was a cool lyric in the chorus, and it really stuck out as the perfect track title.
TF: And what are your 2019 resolutions, are you working towards an EP or an LP?
Holy Lights and Shadows is part of an EP under the same name. There are 3 other brand new tunes on it to check out! As far as resolutions go – we just want to keep doing what we are doing. We already work hard and put a lot into the band. Just keep it up!
TF: You have just performed a bunch of dates recently, but where has been your favourite gig to date?
Probably Shetland as we got flown out, put up in a hotel , played a massive stage and had a massive party!
