Cocoon is the third single from the London based five piece, BABYTEETH, which follows the success of Shame.

The band spoke to The Fountain about the new single and performing at the Roundhouse.

TF: A new single, how exciting, what has the reception been so far?

People seem to really like it. Not one person has told us it is s**t, which is nice.

TF: Are you working towards the release of a new EP or LP that we can look forward to?

We’re recording new music in 2019, probably just singles for now until people care enough for an album!

TF: What inspired the name, Cocoon, reminds me of that eighties film?

We wish it was about the film. We might pretend that in every interview from now on. Really it’s a reference to embracing pain in life, to let it shape you into a stronger version of yourself. Which is well emo, and definitely not as fun as an eighties movie reference let’s be honest.

TF: And will we have the pleasure of seeing you perform in Scotland anytime soon?

Hopefully, we’re one fifth Scottish. We love Scotland. We’d also like to try a deep fried chocolate bar.

TF: What has been your favourite gig to date?

We just played to loads of people at the Roundhouse and didn’t f**k it up so that probably!
