The Swedish-born Curb Records’ Andreas Moss soothes heavy emotion with slick synth beats on his inaugural EP, out now on all platforms. Moss amassed Dove Awards, number-one records, and headlining tours as a Christian recording artist before making his move into pop music in recent years.

Andreas spoke with The Fountain about his favourite gig as well as what we are likely to see from him in the near future.

TF: A new EP release, what can we expect from that?

Seven songs that I’m super passionate about! It’s gotten a great response so far. I’m so glad to finally get to share it!

TF: And that’s not all, you topped Spotify’s New Music Friday, you must be over the moon?

I always am. Spotify has been so good to me. I don’t take it for granted one bit. I’m so thankful!

TF: And will you be promoting this with a UK tour?

I sure hope so. I’m from Sweden, so any excuse to come to that side of the pond is always exciting. I’m definitely planning on it!

TF: And aside from this record what else are you presently working on, are we likely to see you on the festival circuit this summer?

I’ve been writing a lot for other artists, and also working a bit in film and tv world on scripts and such, keeping myself very busy! I’ve played a few festivals in the US this summer, and hope to be doing more!

TF: What has been your favourite gig to date?

One time I sang in this old church in New Hampshire to a sold out crowd. That has always stuck in my mind as one of my favourites!
