We celebrated our first birthday the other week by hosting a wee soirée of music and poetry in Henderson’s of Edinburgh. It was an event that not only saw music from songwriters, Bartholomew Owl and Hamish Hawk, and poetry from Edinburgh’s Ricky Monahan-Brown, but prizes were also raffled off for charity, Street Reads, who provide reading access to the homeless.
With a great line-up that included Interrobang?‘s Ricky, Clarissa and Bart from eagleowl on guitar and double bass, as well as the charming Hamish Hawk, it was an intimate evening of top class performances. The venue for the night was Henderson’s of Edinburgh, DM Audio supplied the sound, kindly compered by Paul Montague. We raised a generous amount for the charity.
